GHANA RUGBY FOOTBALL UNION WORLD EARTH DAY - CAPE COAST.

The world Earth day, Thursday 22nd April 2021, was celebrated by Ghana Rugby Football Union in Cape Coast on Saturday 24th April 2021, with the following activities:
- Beach cleaning
- Mini Rugby Fun game
- Community Clean-Up by GIR academy U - 15 Boys (Mfantsipim School)
- Education on Climate Change and Global warming.

There was an education on Global Warming and Climate Change. The commitment of higher carbon-emitting countries to reduce emissions as was witnessed in the Global Conference on Climate Change was a major highlight.
Participants were made to understand individual contributions to reducing Global Warming.
The Education was given by Bismark Amponsah (Dept. of Environmental Sciences - UCC).
