Ghana Rugby Union Dismisses General Manager and Communications Director
Accra, 1 October 2026 – The Ghana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) has announced major changes to its management team, effective immediately.
In a statement released following a Board Meeting held today, the Union confirmed that the appointment of Ms. Samira Mensah as General Manager has been terminated. Additionally, Ms. Racheal Abena Nyarkoa Ankomah has ceased serving as Director of Communications.
The Board expressed its appreciation for the contributions both women made during their tenure and wished them success in their future pursuits.
The GRFU stated that further details regarding new management and communications arrangements will be communicated in due course.
